“God does not take away trials or carry us over them, but strengthens us through them.” (Edward B. Pusey, nineteenth-century theologian) However, we must fully trust Him, leave them in His hands to handle in His time and place just as the Shunammite woman did when she laid her dead son on the prophet Elisha’s bed and closed the door in complete trust.
