Do Not Listen!

Do not listen to the voices of hate! Why not? Because God will always get the last word!

God created the nations — ALL of mankind. He created every race and nationality. If you hate or even dislike someone because of their race, country of origin, even creed, you have a problem with God!

He hates any actions of His creation that do not align with His instructions in His word. However, He loves every individual and commands us to love them as we love ourselves.

So, again, I encourage all of us, myself included, to ignore the voices of hate that swirl around us and focus on loving and praying for tgem. Pray that their actions, beliefs, and/or hate will change to align with His instructions. Most importantly, pray that, if they do not know Yeshua as their savior, they will repent and turn to Him. And if they claim Him but have strayed from His Word, that they will repent and return to the Truth.

If you are reading this and need to repent of your hateful words or actions, and/or need to accept Him as your savior, I encourage you to do so right now. Simply tell Him that you repent of, are really sorry for your actions, and that you give Him control of your life.

If you make this decision, please let me know by replying to this post.

The Temple Mount History

Wow, three posts in one day!  I apologize to those following me via email for so many posts in one day, but I felt this info is important.  For those you who are wondering why all the fuss about the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the following post from a friend’s blog (For Zion’s Sake) will give you a little history:

Temple Mount

Last week’s message centered around the fatal shooting of two Israeli policemen at The Temple Mount. We mentioned how difficult this is to hear and accept for the Jewish people since The Temple Mount is Judaism’s Holiest Site. All of this raises the question . . . Why Is This True?
Following is an outline of the history of The Temple Mount. Important – This will only be an outline as a detailed study of The Temple Mount history would be an in depth study in itself:
2000 BC
Abraham takes Isaac up to Mt. Moriah (Temple Mount) obeying God
1000 BC
King David sets up the Tabernacle including the Ark of the Covent on Mt. Moriah
950 BC
Solomon builds first Temple with 184,000 workers over 7 years on Mt. Moriah
910 BC
First Temple destroyed by the Pharaoh of Egypt
833 BC
Joash repairs Temple
640 BC
King Josiah continues repair of Temple
586 BC
Nebuchadnezzar burns Jerusalem destroying the Temple
517 BC
Nehemiah and Zerubbabel complete construction of second Temple
70 AD
Roam General Titus destroys second Temple
All that is left today of The Temples is one retaining wall known as The Western Wall or The Wailing Wall. Jews from all over the world come to The Western Wall to pray believing God’s presence is in the wall. Additionally, on The Temple Mount are two Muslim Mosques because in the past there were times when Muslims controlled Jerusalem and built the Mosques. However and vitally important, the day is coming when a third Temple will be present on The Temple Mount!
2Thessalonians 2:3-4 says, “Let no one deceive you by any means; for That Day will not come unless the falling away comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the Temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” That Day referred in these verses is that time frame when Jesus physically comes back to earth to rule and reign from Jerusalem. However, just prior to That Day the man of perdition which is the Anti-Christ will temporally reign at the rebuilt Temple on the Temple Mount.
As we have looked at the history, present day and future of The Temple Mount it is obvious how any event that happens on The Temple Mount is sensitive to the Jewish people. As a result, it seems vitally important for all of us to pray each day for Our Lord God’s Hand Of Protection over the exact spot where the new Temple will be built.

Urgent Prayer for Israel

Fatah and Hamas have called for another “Day of Rage” today (Fri, 7/28).  Although the Israelis have taken the metal detectors off the Temple Mount, the violence continues on and in the vicinity of the Temple Mount with threats of increased violence today (and it is Friday afternoon in Jerusalem as I write this).  In essence, this is a “new” declaration of war over Israel and the Temple Mount, though it is nothing new in the Fatah and Hamas rhetoric.  With Tisha B’Av coming next Tues, Aug 1, the attempts at increased violence is likely to continue for awhile.  I say “continue” because our prayers can help bring it to a close.  I don’t think I can say much more than “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem!”

Charter School Word of Caution

KNOW WHO OWNS AND OPERATES YOUR LOCAL CHARTER SCHOOL!

KNOW WHERE YOUR TAX DOLLARS ARE GOING!

Do you have a child in a charter school?  Are you interested in sending your child to a charter school?   Before you do so, carefully investigate the ownership.  Dig deep, because all may not be as innocent as it appears.

Approximately 140 charter schools across the country are owned by Muhammad Fethullah Gülen.  According to an article in the May/June 2016 issue of Israel My Glory magazine, which quotes an article by WND’s (World Net Daily) Leo Hohmann, Gülen is a Turkish Islamist with a reported goal of bringing Sharia law to America through “civilizational jihad–a form of nonviolent jihad focused on infiltrating and overcoming Western nations over time through immigration and exploitation of the civil liberties available in those nations.”  Through these schools, he is collecting tens of millions in American tax dollars to fund his anti-American agenda.

By the way, the U.S. gave Gülen legal permanent resident status in 2008, and he is now eligible for citizenship.

So, if you have a student in a charter school, are considering enrolling your child in one, or know of someone who is, research the background throughly before enrolling.

Excessive teaching about the Islamic religion may be going on in your local non-charter public school as well.  You may have heard of an incident at La Plata [public] High School in Charles County, at which students were allegedly made to profess the Muslim statement of faith and memorize the Five Pillars of Islam. According to the list, La Plata is not one of  Gülen’s schools.  This is actually more disconcerting.  La Plata and the Maryland school system, are being sued in federal court regarding this practice.  The suit also alleges that the school teaches that “…the Islamic religion is a fact while Christianity and Judaism are just beliefs.”  Just one more reason to be alert to what your child is being taught at all levels of education!
