COVID is Trump’s Fault??
To those who blame President Trump for perceived mishandling of the COVID crisis and even the death of a loved one or friend…I am sorry for your loss, but I respectfully suggest that you take the log out if your own eye. While “the buck always stops at the top,” he wasn’t alone. The state governors played the primary part in their state’s response.
President Trump and the governors all had advice and counsel from “experts” who have served under other adminstrations. Hindsight always says that a better job could have been done.
Unfortunately, politics played a big part in an issue that should have been handled by everyone in a totally non-partisan partnership. If you want to blame someone or something, blame that!
Oh, and the person you think would have done a better job is touting a plan that is almost identical to what President Trump did. If you haven’t voted yet, think twice and pray hard before you fill in the circle.

Biden/Harris?
A vote for the Biden-Harris ticket is a vote for shedding innocent blood! They haven’t hidden their agenda on this issue. If you haven’t voted, please give serious consideration to this fact as you fill in the circle. I’ve read/heard of far too many who are voting based on personality. Personality doesn’t matter when life and death are at stake! And, by-the-way, you will be held accountable for those deaths through abortion–follower of Yeshua as well as non-follower of Yeshua.

R U in the 75%?
Are you part of the 75% of Yeshua-followers who do not vote? We should be ashamed of ourselves! We should have a 100% voting participation record. Voting is a right and a privilege in the USA and we should be exercising it to the fullest. We will never see a change in the direction of our beloved country if we don’t participate in its government — and everyone who is eligible to vote can participate by voting!

Home Stretch
We’ve rounded turn 4 for the final lap and we’re coming down the home stretch to the finish line! What finish line? Nov. 3rd, of course! Have you voted? If you are a follower of Yeshua, have you and are you still praying for God’s will to be accomplished, even if you have already voted? After the election, will you continue praying for the winners, regardless of who they are or their party affiliation, that they will lead in justice and mercy according to Biblical values?
As Nov. 3rd fast approaches, we can’t let our guard down. We must remain steadfast in prayer. I hope that you are praying for His choices to be elected. I hope that you made or are making, your choices based on what the Bible says, not what man thinks. To assist in your prayers, I’m including the Top Ten Prayer Points from Intercessors for America*.
- Pray for more of God’s Presence to be experienced in your community and our nation. (Ps 16:11; 2 Cor 3:17)
- Pray for the [Body of Believers] to see the need to repent of personal and national sins in the fear of the Lord. (2 Chron 7:14; 1 Jn 1:9; Prov 9:10)
- Pray for believers to unite in prayer to seek God for their nieghborhoods and communities. (1 Tim 2:1-2)
- Pray for godly candidates to be elected, regardless of party affiliation. (Ps 96:10; Ps 1:1-3)
- Pray for administrators, legislators, and judges to serve in a way that aligns with God’s word. (Ps 19:7-11, Prov 3:5)
- Pray for the elections to be fair, honest, and without corruption. (Prov 16:13)
- Pray that the Holy Spirit convicts many who do not know [Jesus] as their Savior, leading them to seek Him as [Savior and] Lord. (1 Tim 2:4)
- Pray for divine protection over our nation during the critical upcoming elections [and beyond]. (Prov 3:5; Ps 91)
- Pray that those candidates who know [Yeshua] would openly and courageously speak of their faith and stand firm on their biblical principles. (Mt 5:13-16)
- Pray that [followeres of Yeshua] across the nation will persist in seeking God’s purpose for America beyond the elections, and that God, in His mercy, will usher in transforming [and lasting] revival. (Ezek 37; Ps 42:1)

Withering America
“A disease that lies in the spirit cannot be cured by that which doesn’t”*
We have been watching America wither away morally and spiritually for many years. The politicians are campaigning that they will fix everything–“they”, not God! At least I haven’t heard any say that God would do the fixing, the curing. As Jonathan Cahn said in his recent book, “A spiritual disease cannot be answered by cures rooted in other realms, political cures, economic cures, ideological cures. No such cure can stop the withering. A spiritual disease can only be answered by a spiritual cure.”*
Are those of us who follow Yeshua willing to pay the price to obtain that cure? God is the source of that cure, but it starts with each of us. In our hearts, yes, but also in the way we live openly for Yeshua! It will require spending significant time on our knees beseaching God! It will require standing up publically against the antichrist forces that want to see the US continue to wither! And, it will require the dedication of every believer–there is so much that needs changed in our personal lives, the “church”, our government, and our nation in general.
Where, oh where do you start? If you haven’t voted, do so according to scripture, not according to your pocketbook or the personality of the candate. Once you’ve voted, find ways in your daily life to blatantly live out your faith. Doing so with love for your fellow man, regardless of his views, but being strong and forthright about the truth!

To All Candidates
A special message for all of candidates for legislative office:
We, the voters, do not vote for you because you are smarter than we are, though you may think you are! We do not vote for you to be our parent, though you may try to act like one!
We vote for you to be our representative, to speak and legislate according to the Constitution of the USA and according to our will, not yours. (In case you don’t remember the definition: a representative is “one who serves as a delegate or agent for another,” in other words, they don’t speak for themselves, they speak and act for the one they represent. And a representative government, which ours is, is “an electoral system where citizens vote to elect people to represent the citizens’ interests and concerns.”)
So, if and when you are elected and sworn into office, we expect you to represent your entire constituency, not just those who voted for you, not just those who gave you large donations, not just the leaders of your party.
If you are currently in office and want to get re-elected, then get back to the business of representing all of us rather than trying to control our lives. Do so even during the election season. I know you don’t want to hear this, but doing your job is more important than getting re-elected. And, if you’d do your job with excellence and actually accomplish something for the people who are paying your salary, your real employers, you wouldn’t have to convince anyone that you should be allowed another term in office.
Oh, and while I’m at it, will all of you, and the organizations running ads for or against candidates, please stop telling half-truths and outright lies. Focus on telling us what you are going to do, not how bad your opponent is! And, when and if you are elected/re-elected, keep those promises you make just like our current President, President Donald Trump has done!

Two Must Reads
I urge you to read the following two articles related to the desire of too many to create a “New World Order”, which would be socialistic and in which America would not be the world leader it is today. The first is a current article written by Karen Hardin and published 7/30/2020 on the Intercessors for America Blog. It describes four steps being used today by those who, in my not so humble opinion, destroy America and our current form of government and turn us into a socialistic government. This article was published in 2018 but scroll to the comments for an updated list on a few of the goals.
The second is a list of 45 strategic goals of the Communist party to take over non-communist countries and the degree to which they have been implemented in the USA. They were published in 1958 in The Naked Communist and give a good insight into the thinking and strategies of the so-called liberal elite. This article includes examples of how these goals have already been implemented.
“Conspiracy Theory,” “could never happen” you cry? Don’t be so quick to judge. At the very least, these are food for thought as we consider and pray regarding current events.

“I felt impressed to share my musings about our election results today.
“As I stayed up watching the returns I felt anticipation about who would finally be our next President of the United States. I had very mixed feelings as I watched and honestly had prayed more about North Carolina than our Nation. I understood the spiritual implications and wanted our State to be on God’s side. However, the longer I watched the results, the more I began to know that our Nation was in fact, at a serious cross road!
“As I said several times to others that I would be crying whichever way the elections turned out, to my surprise I am encouraged! Let me explain.
“We as the church have backed down, shut-up, and allowed others to dictate how/what we will do and believe. Jesus wasn’t received by his own people, He walked to an entirely different “beat” and always spoke the Truth even to those in His own “political” system, for that He was persecuted, and ultimately suffered death!
“Our time is NOW! to rise up, stand strong, and begin a “revolution” of taking back our territory. Get ready because I believe the church is going to see this election as empowerment and encouragement to change the world for Jesus! THE GREATER WORKS ARE ON THE HORIZON!! Jn. 14:12
“My prayer is that these thoughts will be used by Father to speak to YOUR hearts to no longer settle for “business as usual” as TRUE believers! Let’s take the world for JESUS!

Vote, Vote Again, and then Vote
Vote, Vote Again, and then Vote often!
“I can’t do that!”, you say. “I can’t vote more than once! It isn’t legal!” Ah, but you can! First, right now and daily until you cast your vote, vote by continuing to research and praying about who to vote for. The praying is the most important part, but research is a close second!
Then go to the polls and vote! If you haven’t voted yet, DO NOT NEGLECT YOUR DUTY!! Vote on Nov 8! With high turnouts at early voting, the lines may even be short. But do vote, even if you have to spend all day in line!
And then, after you vote, continue praying for the leaders who are elected. Vote and then pray often!
- Pray that if they are believers, they will follow Biblical principles in every area of their life, including in the performance of the duties of their office.
- Pray that if they don’t know Yeshua as Savior and Lord, they will meet Him and then carry out their duties in a Biblical manner.
- Pray that even if they do not come to know Yeshua, they will carry out the duties of their office according to the Biblical principles upon which our great country was founded–according to the Constitution as it was originally written.
- Pray that leaders at all levels of government will bow in serious prayer before each and every meeting and vote. If our silly court rulings prevent them from doing so openly during the meeting, there is nothing to stop them from gathering privately to pray. Nor are they prevented from praying silently during meetings and voting.
So, you can vote more than once. Some say that the only vote that counts is the one that is actually cast at the polls. That is very true. If you don’t vote, your opinion is not properly registered where it counts. One vote can make a difference! In addition, praying is also voting because your prayers affect the outcome of the votes of your elected officials. Your prayers bring God into the picture, regardless of whether the politicians are Believers in Yeshua.
